Join our Queer after work series! Our second speaker Masha will take us through - "Surviving the Present By Imagining the Future: Joyful Queer Sci-Fi and Fantasy Worlds"
Masha is an Associate Professor of English at Cornell University and a lifelong queer geek of the bookworm variety. She specializes in queer and trans literature across a wide range of historical periods, and lately has been teaching classes on reading science fiction and fantasy as a labor of hope and resilience. She also teaches classes on how to regain a lost love of reading, and this talk draws from her work on reading as a way of life.
