Who: Queer identifying folks, 18+
What: During our Queer Support Circle, we gather to discuss struggles, achievements, curiosities, and offer support. We also explore different aspects of the queer identity and existing as a queer person in the world.
When: Third Wednesday of each month
Time: 6:30-8pm

18+ Trans & Non-Binary Support Group
Welcome to our monthly inclusive and affirming space designed for individuals aged 18 and above who identify as transgender, non-binary gender nonconforming. Our support group is a safe space where members can come together to share experiences, struggles, triumphs, and resources in a supportive environment. We aim to foster a sense of belonging and empowerment while promoting education, advocacy, and self-care.
Meeting Format: Our meetings typically consist of facilitated discussions, educational workshops, and group activities. Members are encouraged to participate at their own comfort level, whether they wish to actively engage in discussions or simply listen and absorb support.
Topics of Discussion: Our group covers a wide range of topics relevant to the transgender and non-binary experience, including but not limited to:
Gender identity exploration
Coming out experiences
Social, legal, and medical transitioning
Mental health and self-care
Confidentiality: We prioritize confidentiality and respect within our group. What is shared within meetings stays within meetings, fostering a trusting environment where members can freely express themselves without fear of judgment or disclosure.
Accessibility: We strive to make our group accessible to all individuals regardless of their background, identity, or abilities. We welcome feedback and suggestions for improving accessibility to ensure that everyone feels welcome and included.
Guiding Principles: Our support group is guided by principles of respect, empathy, inclusivity, and empowerment. We believe in uplifting each other and creating a space where everyone's voice is heard and valued.
